The extension reads the content of the AI chat page locally in your browser for the sole purpose of performing its functions (like creating the navigation panel and enabling the export feature). This data never leaves your computer and is never sent to our servers.

To provide and improve the service, especially for Pro features, I collect a minimal amount of data:

- How: This is collected when you choose to sign up or log in via a third-party provider like Google.
- Why: To create and manage your user account, allowing you to access Pro features and restore your subscription status across different devices.

- What: We do not see or store your credit card number. Our payment processor, Stripe, handles all sensitive payment details. We only store a record of your subscription status (e.g., "pro") and a Stripe Customer ID for reference.
- How: Collected during the Stripe Checkout process when you upgrade to ChatKit Pro.
- Why: To process your payment and grant you access to Pro features.
